- Lot Description
Chinese, Early 20th Century. Chinese carved ivory chess set including a wooden case with chess board top, holding 32 carved ivory figural pieces, 16 of which are tinted, all raised on puzzle ball bases. Height of tallest chess piece 6". Height of shortest chess piece 3.125".
Condition
The ivory King is missing sword. The ivory Queen is missing cross (see image 2). Minor tinting missing from a couple of pieces.
