Chinese, likely 20th century. Hand carved stained hardwood figural deity sculpture in the form of a standing happy Buddha with bald head, elongated earlobes, happy facial expression, exposed torso with rounded belly holding a wooden staff over shoulder, opposite hand with palm facing out holding small bat (symbol of prosperity) , foo dog happily and eagerly pawing at leg, Unsigned. Approximate height 12", width 4.75", depth 4".
