- Lot Description
Chinese, Ming Dynasty Xuande Period mark (1426-1435), 20th century. A brass sculptural Quanyin depicted in the traditional manner with legs in Lotus mudra and hands in the Dhyana mudra on lap holding a precious object below the subject's downturned chin. Underside with impressed four character Xuande imperial reign mark. Approximate height 8.25", width 4.25", depth 3.75".
