Chinese, Ming Dynasty Xuande period mark (1426-1435), likely 20th century. Blue and white porcelain bowl with exterior decorated with meandering spiral motif banding at top above lotus flowers with scrolled foliates terminating on lappet banding above circular foot, interior with similar floral and scrolled foliate motif in blue on white ground. Marked with six character Xuande period reign mark in blue under glaze within two circular borders on bottom of foot. Approximate height 3", diameter 6.3".
Minor loss of blue banding at the interior of rim. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
