- Lot Description
Chinese, Late 19th century, possibly earlier. Circular blue and white porcelain charger with figural scene on center tondo with child waiting inside doorway in front of steps that lead down to three male adults in garden setting with stylized pine trees and rocks within border on rim with diaper patterned motif with floral medallions. Underside of plate with bamboo motif. Diameter approximately 14.75".
Condition
Chip to rim. Minor glaze flaws as made, pin holes, some discoloration to glaze (see image 9).
