- Lot Description
Century Furniture Company (American, founded 1947), late 20th century. A Mandarin style gentleman's dresser from the Chin Hua line, having an ebonized shaped top, over two upper cabinet doors and three longer drawers, each inset with a matchbook maple burl veneer panel with a gold beaded edge, with matching sides and applied fretwork brass handles with drop pulls. Interior cabinet fitted with four open cabinets and two short over one long drawer. Branded to drawer interior. Approximate height 62.75", width 38", depth 18.5".
Condition
Some minor chipping and losses, especially to feet. Some tarnishing to pulls. Marks/dents to interior drawers where pulls have hit. Large 0.5" scratch to both sides. Some smudging. No other visible signs of damage or repair.
