Cartier (French, founded 1847). Travel clock with black enameled oval frame with brass border accent surrounding white oval face with black Roman numerals surrounding hands and "CARTIER PARIS", lower section with "SWISS MADE" behind glazed front. Collapsible ease back with signature logo "C" form feet. Back marked with "Cartier PARIS" and with "7509 04367" above "SWISS MADE". When standing on easel back overall approximate height 3.5", width 3", depth 2.25".
Surface scratches present throughout. Dirt and grime throughout, may benefit from light professional cleaning. Five small losses to black enamel on frame; four with signs of repair. A single untreated abrasion to black enamel on frame, not distracting. Two visible, parallel surface scratches to plastic encasing face. Back with surface scratches; more prevalent at winding mechanism consistent with winding abrasion. Fracture to one c-shaped foot of easel at top, allowing lower three-quarters of foot to articulate slightly. Mechanism appears to keep time.
