Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963) for Steuben Glass Works (American, founded 1903), circa 1930s. A scarce green jade cameo art glass vase of fan form in the "Bristol" pattern, the fan form raised on a round pedestal and ball form shaft, the whole with chrysanthemum blossom and leaf etched cameo decoration to surface, vase with polished pontil. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 8.25", width 6.5", depth 3.875". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Glass reacts brightly under ultraviolet light. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
