Frederick Carder (English, 1863-1963) for Steuben Glass Works (American, founded 1903), circa 1903-1932. A small baluster form heavy art glass cameo vase in the Canton pattern, jade over alabaster, the vase decorated to green layer at foot and shoulder with leaf tip bands, along center of body with band of alternating lotus blossoms and Shou symbols, and at the narrow neck with stylized meandering key pattern, and the white area of body allover with cloud scrolls. Apparently unmarked. Approximately 6.125" tall, 4" diameter. Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
There are some included bubbles (under surface). There are a couple of dark flecks on the exterior perhaps caused by a small inclusion. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
