British School, first half 20th century. "Tudor Cottage" oil on canvas, signed lower left "S. J. Lamorna Birch". Landscape painting depicting a tudor country cottage to right of center nestled on the bank of a river or lake surrounded by lush green trees, the house flanked at right by a wooden fence behind which rests a single figure overlooking the water. Verso of frame with Christie's label. Framed approximately 30" x 40". Unframed approximately 20.25" x 30.25".
