- Lot Description
Hattakitkosol Somchai (Thai, 1934-2000). "Cranes", brass, edition 52/1000, signed. Tall polished brass sculpture depicting a male and female crane each in grooming position with head tucked and standing on single leg, mounted on a weighted black fiberglass resin base. Approximate height 55.75", circular base depth 15.5".
Condition
Wear to black base surrounding feet. Scattered oxidation two each crane. Each with uneven wear to patina--one more severe and noticeable. Uneven patination likely due to cleaning agents and frequent handling. No signs of significant dents, dings or pitting.
