Boehm. Western Bluebird (400-01). Large and impressive bisque porcelain sculpture depicting a male and female Western Bluebird resting atop flowering branches with yellow clustered blossoms throughout, set upon a naturalistic base with clover and small blue flowers upon a further white bisque plinth. Marked to underside with makers mark and piece title, both signed to base "Boehm". Approximately 17.25" tall, 18" wide, 6.25" deep. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
Tip of top of green leaf at highest point with earlier repair. Nick just below repair mentioned above on stem where meets lower leaf. Far right of porcelain sculpture with losses to two yellow flowers on bottom. Wear to bottom commensurate with age and shelf use. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
