Boehm. Road-Runner (493) and Lizard on Branch. A group of two porcelain bisque sculptures comprising of one depicting a horned lizard walking across a branch; and Road-Runner depicting the large bird running across a small naturalistic base with its head down and beak open and with long tailfeathers extending up. Both pieces signed to base "Boehm". Lizard marked to underside "Boehm Trenton, N.J. U.S.A.", Road-Runner marked to underside with maker's mark and piece title. Lizard approximately 3.625" tall, 10.5" long, 3.5" deep. Road-Runner approximately 13.5" tall, 15" wide, 7.5" deep. Provenance: From the Estate of Sam & Florence Inman, Atlanta, Georgia.
Both figures in excellent condition with no missing elements, scratches, nicks, dings, cracks or damage. No signs of restoration or repair. Light wear to bottom commensurate with age and shelf use.
