- Lot Description
French or Italian, early 20th century. A blue opaline glass casket or dresser box in rectangular form with hinged top with chamfered corners and conforming ormolu mounts. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 4", width 5", depth 3.25".
Condition
Overall very good condition. Slight oxidation to ormolu banding. Box opens and shuts smoothly. Areas of white residue to the interior box under ormolu mounts, possibly glue. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
