Manner of Steuben (American, founded 1903). A black amethyst glass vase with cased glass insert or liner. The bulbous vase with fire polished rim over a short neck and rounded shoulders tapering to a polished base, the liner or insert with cased clambroth and a jade rolled edge with polished pontil. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 8.25", liner height 6.75", liner diameter 6.25.
Both the vase and insert in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs noted. Minor scratches to bottom of vase, commensurate with age & shelf usage.
