- Lot Description
Sigvard Bernadotte (Swedish, 1907-2002) for Georg Jensen (Danish, founded 1904), circa 1945-77. A stunning modernist sterling silver coffee service comprising bottle form coffee pot with white leather wrapped loop handle, squat round lidded sugar, and squat teardrop form creamer with loop handle, the sugar and pot with triangular form finials to the round lids. Each piece marked to underside with maker and artist's marks, also "DEMNARK / STERLING / 1015". Pot approximate height 9.25". Sugar approximate height 3". Creamer approximate height 2.75". Total approximate weight 26.3 troy ounces.
