American, 20th c. Regency style stained birchwood window bench or seat by the Baker Furniture Company for the Stately Homes Collection, the padded outscrolled arms terminating in carved and ebonized lion-masks, above a rectangular inset cushioned seat with overstuffed removable cushion, raised on splayed feet ebonized and carved in feathered and scaled ball and claw. Height 32.5", width 56", depth 17.5".
Structurally sound - slight wobble (could be floors at gallery). Fabric is free from rips, tears, stains or odors and tight to frame. Scattered minor scratches and nicks commensurate with age and usage.
