Baccarat (French, founded 1864), circa 1890. A cranberry glass and gilt bronze punch bowl having a flared gilt enamel rim, the body with etched and flowering leafy foliage in gilt enamel against a horizon with sunset or sunrise, raised on a gilt bronze stand with four naturalistic feet in the form of oak branches, leaves and acorns, stamped to the underside "Baccarat". Approximate height 9.25", diameter of mouth 9.75". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Overall very good condition. Gilt enamel loss to rim of mouth. Minor scratches to interior of bowl primarily to the base, not distracting. There are small scattered included bubbles (under surface). Bronze base shows oxidation and green patina. Bowl sits stable on base.
