Anton Chotkan (Austrian,1875-1925), Austrian cold painted bronze figural boudoir table electrified lamp depicting an Orientalist scene with a young female lion tamer standing barefoot on a fringed carpet poking a wild cat rolling on back in submission, scene with bamboo support in front of rectangular trunk with tiger pelt, shield and spear, holding up a large lantern with blue glass. Marked on bottom with impressed "MADE IN AUSTRIA". Approximate height 17.25", width 8.75", depth 7".
Applied felt strips to bottom of lamp to keep from scuffing on table. Oxidation to metal commensurate with age. Light wear to patina and paint from age and light handling. All elements intact with no losses, dents, dings or holes. Likely later rewired. No other signs of damage, loss or repair.
