Augarten Wien (Austrian, founded 1718). A porcelain figurine circa 1960 depicting a white horse in leaping Capriole position with his handler at left guiding the movement, the figure in 19th century French military dress wearing a navy blue tail coat and hat with white trousers and dark tall boots, the horse with red and gilt saddle pad, bridle, and reigns. Inscribed to one side of ovular plinth "Capciole-Spanische Reitschule" and to opposite side "Hofburg Wien". Stamped maker's mark to underside below impressed "Made in Austria". Approximately 11.75" x 10.25" x 4.75".
Very good condition. No repairs or damage noted.
