Attributed to Jacques Fouquier (Flemish (active France), 1580-1659). Pair of pastoral oil on panel paintings, comprising "Convergence in a Clearing", oil on panel, apparently unsigned, with label to verso, figural pastoral landscape painting depicting a wooded scene with figures meeting in a clearing; and "Travelers on Footpath", oil on panel, apparently unsigned, with label to verso, figural pastoral landscape painting depicting a three male figures walking a footpath through a wooded scene. Each framed approximately 13.75" x 16". Each unframed approximately 9" x 11.25". Note: alternative artist spellings include, but are not limited to, Jacques Fouquières and Jacob Facquier.
Both works in overall good condition. Each painting with stable surface. "Travelers on Footpath" with extremely minor in-painting to upper right quadrant; not detectable under normal light conditions.
