- Lot Description
Manner of Arne Vodder (Danish, 1926-2009), mid 20th century. Mid century modern sideboard or credenza with case of rectangular form in teak wood with sliding white and black doors with elongated teak wood handles flanking four pull out drawers with protruding wooden geometric handles, body surmounting four tapered legs. Unmarked, however, interior shelf with Danish flag label. Approximate height 29.5", width 74.5", depth 19".
Condition
Overall wear commensurate with age and use. Some typical surface scratching, abrasions, chips, dents, and water staining overall. Sliding doors are painted wood, and are clean and nice, without apparent losses or chips, and slide easily. Some grittiness to slider on right side, causing slight, audible sound. Likely can be cleaned. Left interior shelf is missing bracket, and is not hanging. Interiors of drawers with marker and pen staining, and some accretions. Area of scratching to right top, some minor water staining to left top. Nice overall lot, minor condition issues/wear are not distracting. No other apparent signs of damage or repair.
