English, 20th century. A large reproduction heraldic stained glass panel after the original from Fawsley Hall (Northamptonshire, England) currently held in the Burrell Collection with the helm, ermine mantling, buck's head couped argent crest, supporters (golden falcon for Skenard and blue boar for De Vere), and shaped shield of Sir Edmund Knightley of Fawsley (1491-1542) and his wife Ursula Vere (d.1558), daughter of Sir George Vere Lord Great Chamberlain of England, the shield form glass seamed with pot metal and set within a rectangular wooden frame. Excerpted from "Stained and Painted Heraldic Glass: Burrell Collection" by William Wells, a description of the elements of the window: "1 and 17 Knightley; 2 and 18 Duston; 3 and 13 Skenard; 4 and 14 Harowdon; 5 and 15 St. John; 6 and 16 Begot; 7 and 23 Burgh; 8 and 24 Cowley; 9 and 19 Combemartin; 10 and 20 Lion; 11 and 21 Dillon Lee; 12 and 22 Thorleys; Sinister; De Vere quartering Howard." Overall approximately 33.5" x 21.125". Inset approximately 31" x 19.75".
