Attributed to Handel Lamp Company (American - Connecticut, 1876 - 1936), or Unique Art Glass and Metal Co. (New York, 1900 - 1907), early 20th century. An Apple Blossom leaded glass and spelter with a bronze patina table lamp, attributed to Handel Lamp Company or the Unique Art Glass and Metal Co., with reticulated heat cap over a domical shaped shade with graduated geometric design in mottled green, brown and cream slag glass over an irregular border decorated with an array of amber - yellow cherry blossom flowers amidst petals in green rippled glass. The base with three Hubbell cluster sockets, each with chain pulls, and rising on a turned and tapering columnar standard mounted with three scrolled handles terminating on a turned base with Hubbell plug. Apparently unmarked. Approximate size 23.5”, diameter of shade 16.5”.
Overall very good condition. Fleur De Lis design heat cap typical of Handel. Minor heat fractures and/or cracks to a few pieces of glass segments. Minor wear and scratches to patina. No marks or signatures were detected.
