- Lot Description
Antonio Borsato (Italian, d.1982). "Horse Drawn Coach", porcelain bisque, marked to underside. Sculpture depicts a horse drawn carriage with a male driver in top hat leaning backward as he drives the coach lead by two tan horses, the carriage carrying a couple, the male in top hat with his arm around the female holding a parasol. Approximately 11.25" x 23.25" x 8".
Condition
Sculpture is very dirty and will need to be cleaned. There is missing lace around the parasol. The courting gentleman and lady each has a slight chip to the tip of a finger. Neither obvious nor distracting. The reins are split and pulling away from harness. Some blades of grass may be missing; not obvious.
