Angel Botello (Puerto Rican/Haitian, 1913- 1986), "Seated Girl", color linocut (artist's proof), pencil signed lower right, "A/P" lower right, "RA" within circle upper left corner. Figural work depicting a girl in white sleeveless dress in a shaped chair on a reddish orange to light green and cream color block background. Framed approximately 21.5" x 15". Sight size approximately 15.5" x 9.5".
Work in excellent condition with rich saturated colors. Sheet with watermark running vertically on left side of sheet. Deckled edge on left side of sheet, right side possibly cut down. Likely the original frame and mat for work, work connected to mat at top with old dried out hinging tape. Slight discoloration and wear to mat. No signs of rips, tears or holes.
