American, Early 20th century (circa 1903). Waltham "Pendant Watch" or ladies pocket watch with Roman numerals on dial with seconds hand sub dial. Wind up watch engraved with "Hovis Mersenne Ellis 2.8.1903", front of case marked "Hovis" for owner's name. Marked 14K. Marked "4551484" and "FAHYS 14K MONARCH" on inteiror of case. Movement #6885071. Ladies size pocket watch appears to be in working condition. Total weight including movement approximately 40 grams. Provenance: From the Private Collection of Gaylyn Shelverton, Warner Robins, GA.
Pocket watch appears to be in working condition. Acid tested between 13.5 and 14K solid yellow gold (item is NOT gold plated or gold filled). Slight wear to case commensurate with age and use.
