- Lot Description
An American Mid Century eglomise mirrored dry bar drinks cabinet or cocktail cabinet, in breakfront form and decorated with classical Grecian figures, having a central hinged mirrored top & pull down mirrored front shelf opening to reveal a well for bottles, etc above a pair of doors opening to a small drawer and central storage and flanked by side doors with shelved interior and illuminating bottom panel. All on conforming plinth base. Approximate height 36.25", width 72", depth 17.25", depth with bar top open 22.75".
Condition
Wear commensurate with age and use. Typical surface wear overall, including some scratching and abrasions to glass, and scratching, abrasions, chips, and a burn mark to gilded edging. Some lifting/staining/darkening to silvering below glass in areas overall, possibly from oxidation or moisture or epoxy beneath, and most noticeably in two vertical spots to the top sides, approximately 11" long and 8" long, each about 1" wide. Not distracting overall. Wire has been cut to back, so needs to be rewired. Electricity not tested. No other visible signs of damage or loss.
