- Lot Description
Alexander Calder (American, 1898-1976), "Circles", color lithograph on paper, pencil signed lower right and numbered edition "31/75". Circles ranging in various sizes and colors create the space, five red circles outlined in black, four yellow circles outlined in black, one blue circle outlined in black and one black circle on white ground. Framed approximately 32.25" x 43". Sight size approximately 23" x 30".
Condition
Work not examined outside of frame. Deckled edges on all sides of work with slightly visible older remnant of brown hinging tape on back side (all sides). Little to no toning to sheet. No signs of holes, tears or losses. No signs of foxing.
