Alex Schloss (American, 1921-2011), "Parade at the Plaza Hotel, New York", oil on canvas, signed lower left in black. Festive painting depicting a cheerful parade in New York City with view of Plaza Hotel at back, a marching band, parade walkers carrying flags, foreground with field of parade attendants. Framed approximately 28.125" x 32.125". Unframed approximately 20.25" x 24.25".
Condition
Painting in excellent condition with no holes, tears, rips or water damage. Under black light examination, no signs of retouching or in-painting. Frame in good condition with no signs of damage or condition issues--all elements present and gilt present.
