Ahrendt & Kautzman (American (New Jersey/Rhode Island), circa 1910-1922). Art Deco sterling silver rectangular box with hinged lid, likely originally lined in wood for use as a cigar humidor, rectangular cartouche on center of top with “L.S.C.” engraved monogram, striped decoration throughout, small key hole on front. Stamped on bottom with “AK” for maker above “STERLING” and pattern number “631”. Overall approximate height 3.75”, width 9.5”, depth 5.75”. Overall weight approximately 26.37 troy ounces.
Overall with surface scratches and minor dings commensurate with age and use. Monogram to lid "L.S.C.". Box is unlocked, key is lacking. Interior of box with adhesive residue from previous liner now removed. No apparent pitting or losses.
