Native American, mid 20th century. Acoma (Pueblo) pottery jar with two spouts at top with orange banded tops above bulbous body with black and orange decoration on white ground depicting birds, feathers and patterning in tribal manner typical for Acoma pottery. Inscribed on bottom "ACOMA". Approximate height 7.25", diameter of foot 2.75". Provenance: Property from the Braselton Estate, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
No apparent chips to cracks to body or base, one spout with minor chip to rim. Crazing throughout with scattered minor losses to paint layer. One notable imperfection to pottery under the glaze below one spout, a 1/2 long linear impression.
