Phoenix Glass Company (American, founded 1880), circa 1889. A seven piece satin blue glass 'zig zag' optic air trap lemonade, water or drinks set comprising a square eight lobed pitcher with applied colorless handle with six matching tumblers or glasses. Apparently unmarked but pitcher is shown on page 66 of Phoenix Art Glass by Marple. Approximate height of pitcher 8.5" (at mouth). Tumbler height 3.75".
Overall very good, clean condition. One tumbler with smooth chip to rim, bubble burst and small bruise. One tumbler with darker blue coloration. Pitcher has a small bruise to rib, not distracting.
