• Lot Description
  Attributed to Spode (English, founded 1767), early 19th century. A large set of earthenware china comprising twenty-two (22) dinner plates (10.5" diameter); twenty-one (21) luncheon plates (9.25" diameter); seven (7) salad plates (7.5" diameter); twelve (12) bowls (approximate height 1.5", diameter 10.5"); two (2) small oval platters (approximately 11.75" x 9.5"); one oval platter (approximately 14.5" x 11.5"); two (2) oval platters (approximately 18.75" x 15.12"); one large tray (approximately 21.5" x 17.12"); one meat platter with tree of life with well (approximately 21.5" x 16.87"); one drainer or strainer (approximately 13.75" x 9.87"); three handled and covered vegetable or casserole dishes (approximately 11.5" x 6.75"); one underplate for the vegetable dish (approximately 12.5" x 9.75"); one vegetable or casserole dish lid (approximately 9.5" x 6.87"); two (2) underplates (approximately 7.75" x 6.25"). Most pieces with impressed symbol, number or hand written number underglaze.
