A 1969 (possibly 1970) Fender Telecaster solid body electric guitar, serial # 274605, with a natural finish ash body, maple neck, cream colored scratch plate, ebony dot fret markers, and chrome bridge and tuning pegs. Front of headstock with "Fender Telecaster, Pat 2,573,254, 3,143,028", and back of body with chrome plate with Fender "F" below serial number. Guitar approximately 39" long. Guitar accompanied by original black leather hard case with applied chrome Fender logo lower right of front above an applied circular Grateful Dead logo of skeleton head with lightning bolt, with orange velvet lining.
Appraised by Atlanta Vintage Guitars of Woodstock, Georgia. Overall 7.5/10 score. Stripped finish, changed electronics. Otherwise all parts appear to be original. New strings 2/4/15.
