Otto Dresel (American/ German, 1826-1890). A bound volume of hand written solo piano arrangements or transcriptions for the five late quartets by Ludwig van Beethoven (German, 1770-1827) comprising Opus 127 String Quartet No. 12, Opus 130 String Quartet No. 13, Opus 131 String Quartet No. 14, Opus 132 String Quartet No. 15, and Opus 135 String Quartet No. 16. The music inscribed in ink on lithographed pages of blank music stave with title pages for each opus inscribed and signed by Dresel, altogether bound in a horizontal format brown paper and cloth bound book. Approximately 10.375" x 13.625" x 1". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
