Dedham Pottery (American (Massachusetts), 1896-1943).Group of three Arts and Crafts movement circular pottery plates with hand painted blue figural decoration on border amid crackled texture comprising of two with dolphin motif and one with turtle motif. Two with blue maker's mark on bottom and impressed rabbit mark; one (dolphin plate with round rim) with CPUS mark for earlier Chelsea (1891-95) period pottery. Diameter of turtle plate approximately 8.5". Dolphin with shaped rim diameter approximately 8.7". Chelsea dolphin plate diameter approximately 8.6".
All with minor firing pinholes and glaze skips. Dolphin plate with shaped rim numerous chips to foot on bottom. Turtle plate with two chips to bottom of foot. Each plate with no signs of cracking, hairlines, or further losses or repairs.
