20th century. A Modernist three piece silver plated tea service in the style of Christofle comprising of tea pot, creamer, and sugar, the teapot and creamer with curving tubular handles and spout mounted to tubular spikes radiating from side of body, the teapot handle being ebonized wood, the creamer with concave edges terminating to opposing sides with ball form knobs at lip, each piece of round form. Apparently unmarked. Teapot approximately 5" tall, 9.75" spout to handle; sugar approximately 2.75" tall, creamer approximately 3.5" tall.
Overall good condition. Interior of teapot is clean. Slight oxidation to finish on bottom of teapot. Flea bite ding to bottom of creamer & sugar, both possibly from manufacturing or contact with surface. Minute area of pitting to creamer. Small area of bubbling on interior of creamer, however, not distracting. Minute scratches to interior rim of sugar, possibly from a lid that is now missing.
