Continental School, late 19th/ early 20th century. A collection of three figural ivory carvings of Orientalist figures comprising of one depicting a shirtless male walking with bamboo platform and round basket balanced atop his head (approximately 7.25" tall including pedestal); one depicting Hindu goddess Vishna with four arms, the two top hands holding lotus blossoms, the two lower hands spread back, the female figure wearing draped robes and standing atop a lotus blossom form (approximately 7.25" tall including pedestal); and one depicting a female Hindu figure with bare belly in a dancing position (approximately 6.75" tall). Each figurine to a carved wood plinth of pedestal form.
All figures have traces of some minor soiling. The figure of Vishna has minute chips to the lotus blossoms and finger tips.
