• Lot Description
  Chelsea House (American, founded 1973), late 20th century. A group of three porcelain figurines comprising a pair of Port Royal horses for the British National Trust Collection, each galloping over a leafy tree trunk, on a naturalistically decorated oval base along with a figural group depicting Apollo and Daphne. All pieces stamped underside "Chelsea House/Port Royal". The horses also marked to underside "THE BRITISH NATIONAL TRUST COLLECTION". Approximate height of horses 6.75", width 5", depth 2.87". Approximate height of the figural group 8.37", diameter of base 3.62". Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Owner of Chelsea House.
