Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848-1933), early 20th century. A collection of two Tiffany Studios opaline vases comprising one pink to clear art glass vase with round clear pedestal base surmounted by ball shaft and floriform body with shaped flared rim with onion skin and band of opaque glass; and one yellow footed art glass tazza with circular foot surmounted by a short shaft and shallow body with molded paneled feather motif under a wide flared rim, with two opaline bands to rim. Pink vase marked to underside "P 1872 L.C.T. Favrile 1099". Yellow vase marked to underside "1906 N L.C.Tiffany - Inc. Favrile". Yellow vase approximate height 3.375", diameter 5.75". Pink vase approximate height 4.625", diameter 4.25". Provenance: From the Estate of A. J. Lemkey, Oak Park, Illinois whereby sold at Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, Chicago, Illinois, October 5, 2010 "Fine Furniture and Decorative Arts", lot 1338, whereby acquired and sold to the Estate of Mary L.
