- Lot Description
French & Austrian, 20th century. Collection of cold painted bronze dog items comprising of a circular onyx ashtray with recessed circular well with a standing cold painted bulldog and seated pug on rim, marked on edge with inset circular medallion reading "VRAI BRONZE MCMXX" and a Franz Bergman (1898-1963) Geschutzt pug dog figurine and a Franz Bergman (1898-1963) Geschuzt bulldog figurine, each marked on bottom with circular mark with "GESCHUTZT" above handled vase with "B" above "8412". Ashtray approximate height 4.5", diameter 8". Seated pug dog approximate height 3.5", width 3", depth 3.75". Bulldog approximate height 3.125", width 2.25", depth 5".
Condition
All pieces in very good condition. Very minor wear to painted finish. Seated pug appears to have paint touch up to nose and pad of feet. Ashtray with seated pug shows minor paint touch up to nose and pads of feet.
