- Lot Description
Chinese, 20th century. A group of two porcelain Yi Tong bottle vases of tall cylindrical form, each decorated on tondo with a hand painted courtly figural scene set in a landscape and bearing lines of black calligraphic marks below gilt rims. Each unmarked. Each approximate height 11", diameter 4.875".
Condition
Both vases with minor enamel loss at mouth. The vase with painted scene depicting boy with fishing basket and pole has a professional repair apparent under ultraviolet light to the interior.
