- Lot Description
Chinese, 20th century. Collection of two snuff bottles of typical form with flattened ovoid bodies with rounded stoppers comprising of one carved out of natural pink agate; the other composed of pink and light blue Peking glass with circular symbol for longevity with blue cabochon stone. Both unmarked. Peking glass snuff bottle approximate height 3.1", width 1.4", depth 0.70".
Condition
Agate bottle: cap glued down. two small chips to beak of bird, not distracting. Peking glass bottle: interior cap with losses, oxidation to silver on cap, areas of waxy residue to body, body also with light scratches.
