Welsh, 19th century. A stained oak wall mounted hanging plate rack with rectangular projecting stepped cornice over a scroll carved frieze above four long shelves each having grooves for plate display and front rails. Approximate height 49.25", width 58.37", depth 5.75" (at cornice).
Structurally sound. Overall good condition. There is a crack with repair to scroll carved frieze; not distracting. Front rails warping. Scattered chips and abrasions commensurate with age and usage.
