- Lot Description
British, 19th century. A stained glass roundel depicting the badge of the Masonic Knights of Malta comprising a four point star at center with alternating lion and unicorn figural representations between the blades, altogether surrounded by colorless and amber glass bands. Approximate diameter 12.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
Condition
Leads likely later. Under black light examination, no apparent in painting or repairs. Minor abrasions or scratches to paint surface, not visible when displayed. No apparent glass or structural losses.
