- Lot Description
Continental/ Spanish School, late 19th/ early 20th century. "Village Street", oil on canvas, signed lower left "A. de la Vega". Horizontal painting depicting a European village or city street lined to both sides with stucco buildings with clay tile roofs and iron fenced courtyards, the street at center leading away from the viewer with many figures traveling along it engaged in conversation and ware selling, the buildings adorned with full flowering bushes to roof lines, trellises, and balconies. Framed approximately 30.25" x 42", unframed approximately 23.25" x 35.5".
