Set of six European armorial oak side chairs, 19th / 20th century, having shield backs with various pseudo noble coats of arms, upholstered seats, and rising on baluster legs with stretcher, apparently unmarked.
Approximate dimensions: h. 37.75", w. 20", d. 17"; seat h. 19".
Provenance: The Collection of Jerome and Bridget Dobson, Atlanta, GA.Condition
Scattered staining to upholstery, four chairs with cracks or damaged repairs to backs - one additionally having water staining to finish, one with a loose back, wear to feet typical of domestic use.
