Iron top with chips to black painted exterior, exposing brown painted finish. Also with scattered oxidation & rust, commensurate with age & outdoor use. No overt cracks, damage, or losses. Oxidation & weathering to patina, including moss & lichen growth on exterior. Interior of well-head with scattered dark black spotting, likely from exposure to smoke & soot. Light wear to limestone carvings, with minor losses to vulnerable element, however, not distracting. All wear commensurate with age & outdoor exposure.
