Continental, Circa 1752. Oak dowry or marriage trunk/chest with thick slab top over a paneled front inscribed "Arent Anno 1752 Teigelers', the sides mounted with large iron bail handles, raised on scrolled feet united by a scallop carved apron. Height 24.5", width 44.5", depth 21.5".
